Rally For Powsurf – A COVID-19 Story

We chose to hold of releasing “Rally for Powsurf – a Covid-19 Story” back when we created it for many reasons. But that’s not important for now. Please enjoy this 5 year flashback! We hope it makes you smile.

When Grassroots Powsurf founder Jeremy Jensen & his family tested positive for COVID-19 they did what any sane people would do when they have a mandatory leave from work and school.. they loaded up the gear into the fun wagon and high tailed it for the nearest place that had some snow.. somewhere in Montana!

The kids had no symptoms, the Mrs. was pretty much floored and probably should have been in bed (but felt adventurous) and Jeremy was short on breath, coughing badly and feeling/tasting that government flu in his lungs, but that wasn’t about to stop this family from turning this situation into a good time.

The deepest spots had about 4 inches covering the dirt and brush so it was slim pickins but they each picked a whole bushel of fun!

**This film was shot and created in November 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This major historical event effected every person differently. We feel sorrow for those who lost loved ones and for those who still have lasting issues stemming from this uncertain time and we are grateful that it’s behind us.

We chose not to release this video widely during the time as there was so much drama surrounding the pandemic, and there still is. But all we can do is make the best of what we have and keep moving on.
